Description

A family in Saint-Eustache is seeking a reliable caregiver to provide care and assistance to an elderly person with cognitive decline and diabetes. Permanent and Full-time employment. 40 hours, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. Split schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; hours may vary according to the care recipient's needs, so flexibility is essential. Salary: $19.27/hour. Two days off: Saturday and Sunday. but this may vary depending on the employer's shifts, so flexibility is essential for the employer. Option to stay with the employer at no additional cost. The caregiver may have to take care of the house and take care of the children in the absence of the parents. Languages: French or English.

 

*Educational level required:

General high school diploma – Completed

*Experience related to employment:

1-2 years of experience caring for elderly persons or persons with disabilities, or equivalent experience through work or studies in nursing, personal support work, caregiving, or another health-care field, is required.

 

*Other conditions:

Punctuality, reliability, good judgment, sense of responsibility, patience, compassion, good interpersonal and organizational skills, and experience with elderly persons or persons with cognitive limitations.
