Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $23.00-$24.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 2006 Oak Bay Ave, Victoria, BC V8R 1E4

Job Duties:

• Cook menu items to standards of quality, flavor, and consistency
• Handle special orders safely for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions
• Order food ingredients and kitchen supplies to ensure the shop is always fully stocked
• Uphold portion control and food costs to reduce waste and maintain profitability
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace throughout the shift
• Train and lead kitchen staff on proper food preparation and safety protocols
• Track inventory levels and keep accurate records of supplies and equipment

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
