Position Info:

• Position: Early Childhood Educator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $23.50-$24.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 145 Ravine Drive, Port Moody, BC V3H 4W3

Job Duties:

• Create and deliver daily programs that foster children’s physical, social, and intellectual growth
• Organize group activities such as reading stories, teaching songs, and leading local outings
• Encourage creative expression by providing opportunities for art, music, and pretend play
• Support personal milestones by helping children learn to eat, dress, and use the washroom independently
• Update families regularly on their child’s progress and any specific needs or achievements
• Identify and report any potential learning or behavioral concerns to parents and supervisors
• Maintain a safe environment by keeping equipment clean and preparing spaces for meals and naps

Job requirements:

• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate and ECE Certificate
• Language: English
