Permanent, full time, overtime, early morning, morning, day, overtime required, overtime available

Salary:

Starting at $19.19/hour (up to $24.42/hour, may be negotiated, pending experience), 40 hours/week, benefits as per collective agreement, medical extended health / dental / vision / disability / life insurance benefits, RRSP contribution program after 1 year of employment, 2 weeks' vacation after 1 year of service at the rate of 4% of vacation pay.

Responsibilities

Tasks:

• Food safety/handling skills
• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials
• Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
• Remove filled containers from conveyors
• Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
• Feed and unload processing machines
• Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
• Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
