Job Title: General Farm Worker
No of Vacancies: 30
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, weekdays, Weekend, if required.
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.
Location Of Work: 15981 56 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3S 2J7
Wage rate: $17.85 per hour, for 40 hours a week.
Education: None
Experience: Not required. Training provided
Languages: No language requirement
Job Duties:
• Field work, plowing, planting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, washing, sorting, packing of the vegetable and field crops.
• Fertilize and spray crops.
• Remove weeds from the crops.
• Set water lines.
• Detect disease and health problems in crops and remove dead plants.
• Perform other duties related to agriculture stream.
Benefits: Accommodation will be provided @ $30/week.
Worksite Environment: Outdoors, wet/damp/rain, hot/cold
Other information: The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada
