Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00-38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: #6 – 4300 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 1Z8

Job Duties:

• Oversee and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service flow and consistent food quality standards
• Plan and manage staff schedules based on business volume, peak hours, and operational needs to control labour costs
• Supervise, train, and support front-of-house and kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and service standards
• Monitor staff performance and conduct regular evaluations, providing feedback and guidance to improve productivity and customer service
• Manage inventory levels and oversee ordering of food, beverage, and restaurant supplies to minimize waste and control costs
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including food safety standards and workplace safety requirements
• Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally, taking appropriate action to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
• Participate in business planning and cost control, including monitoring revenues, expenses, and operational efficiency to support profitability

Job requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
