Responsibilities:
- Manage daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure smooth freight flow.
- Oversee freight flow processes and maintain stock areas.
- Lead the freight team efficiently to ensure on-time delivery of orders.
- Ensure that the team follows company policies and standards.
- Provide freight updates to managers on a regular basis.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and timely replenishment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect staff and goods.
- Provide training to new and existing staff on best practices and procedures.
- Address customer questions and concerns regarding shipments.
- Evaluate team performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and related documentation.
- Coordinate vehiicle dispatch and scheduling to ensure rental vehicles are available and delivered to customers on time.
- Monitor the movement and logistics of rentak cars and trucks across multiple locations to ensure efficient fleet utilization.
- Liaise with vehicle maintenance and repair teams to ensure all rental vehicles meet safety and operational standards before dispatch.
