(Food Services Manager)

We are looking for an experienced Food Services Manager for Pie Muskoka located 114 Medora St, Port Carling, ON P0B 1J0 Canada.

Job Duties:

Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate daily restaurant operations, including pizza preparation, kitchen workflow, counter service, dine-in, takeout, and delivery coordination.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient service, consistent food quality, and smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate kitchen and service staff.
Monitor inventory levels, place orders for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies, and control food, labour, and operating costs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations in accordance with local and provincial requirements.
Handle customer concerns, feedback, and service issues to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels during regular business hours and peak service periods.
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency in pizza, side items, and other menu offerings.
Train kitchen and service staff on food preparation procedures, portion control, presentation standards, safe food handling, and customer service expectations.

Prerequisites:

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience.

Experience & Skills: 5 years or more of experience in the Food Industry or equivalent.

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $36.00 for 30 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
