Position Info:

• Position: Daycare Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00-$38.50/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 4890 Hastings Street, Burnaby, BC V5C 2K9

Job Duties:

• Create daily learning programs that focus on child growth and social skills
• Ensure the facility stays clean, safe, and fully compliant with health standards
• Run engaging group activities, including story time, music, and local field trips
• Teach children daily habits like getting dressed and proper hygiene
• Set clear classroom rules to encourage good behavior and a positive environment
• Track child development and attend staff meetings to discuss progress or concerns
• Lead and support staff to keep daily operations running smoothly
• Handle inventory needs, from ordering supplies to maintaining play equipment

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of childcare and supervisory experience is required
• Certification: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and ECE Certificate
