Job roles and responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and sauces according to Boston Pizza standards.
Cook and prepare a variety of menu items including pizzas, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers.
Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
Inspect and taste food before serving to ensure quality standards are met.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple orders during peak hours.
Coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering food supplies as needed.
Store food properly and ensure proper labeling and rotation to maintain freshness.
Minimize food waste by following proper portion control and storage practices.
Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas regularly to maintain sanitation.
Assist in menu preparation and suggest improvements based on kitchen operations.
Follow workplace health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
