Responsibilities
Tasks

• Prepare ingredients for cooking according to Boston Pizza recipe and standards.
• Cook and grill various menu items such as pizzas, pasta, burgers, sandwiches and appetizers.
• Adhere strictly to Boston Pizza’s recipes and portion sizes to ensure food quality and taste consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following proper food safety and hygienic practices.
• Utilize cooking techniques to cook a diverse range of menu items and maintain consistency in flavour and presentation.
• Work efficiently to handle orders promptly, minimizing wait times and ensuring customer satisfaction during busy periods.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff members to streamline operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Inspect and taste dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant’s quality standards before being served to the customers.
• Potentially handle the cleaning of both the kitchen and work areas.
• Develop menus, assess portion sizes, estimate food needs and expenses and manage ordering.
