Description
We are looking for well experienced Cooks for “Hungry Herbies Drive In” located at 1301 Hwy. 97 North Cache Creek, BC V0K 1H0 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Prepare and cook all menu items, including burgers, sandwiches, sides and other signature offerings at Hungry Herbie’s, ensuring consistency and adherence to standardized recipes.
Operate and monitor kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, ovens) safely and efficiently, maintaining correct cooking temperatures and timing during peak service periods.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation and equipment in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, communicate shortages or restocking needs to kitchen management and minimize food waste through efficient portion control.
Assist in verifying quality and freshness, and storing items under proper temperature and hygiene conditions.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage workflow during busy periods and support other cooks to maintain service speed and quality.
Follow all health, safety and hygiene regulations, including proper hand-washing, safe food handling, cross-contamination prevention.
Contribute to daily specials or seasonal menu items under supervision, ensuring new items align with Hungry Herbie’s brand and customer expectations.
Assist with prepping ingredients, checking supplies and ensuring the kitchen is ready for daily operations.
May perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more, preferably in the Restaurant or Hospitality Industry.
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $20.90 to 22.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
