Cocos Chicken and Sushi in Merritt, BC is looking to hire a competent Cook!
Job Position: Cook
Number of Openings: 1
Hourly Wage: $19.00~$20.00
Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary for vacation pay
Language of Work: English
Employment Term: Permanent, Full-time

Job Duties:
– Prepare and cook Japanese food items and fried chickens from menu, including rolls, donburi, tempura, etc.
– Make adjustments to food items to accommodate customers with dietary restrictions
– Manage kitchen operations
– Supervise and train kitchen helpers
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and order supplies
– Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
Requirements:
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial cooking is required.
– English skills and time management skills are required.
