Employment Location- Campbell River BC

Cook – 2 positions

906 South Island Hwy Campbell River BC V9W 1B1

Salary $21.18 per hour , 30-40 hrs. per week , 6 to 8 hours per day , 5 days a week , flexible shift , flexible days off .

Work shifts schedule are expected to be shifts 6 hours up to 8 hours , depending on the business operation, these shifts continuously vary from early morning , afternoon and evening shifts.

Duties and responsibilities

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

Prepare and cook special meals for customer as instructed by chef

Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers

Oversee kitchen operation

Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

May clean kitchen and work area

May plan menus, determine size of food portions , estimate food requirements and cost, monitor and order supplies



Experience is necessary

Completion of a three -year apprenticeship program for cooks or



Completion of college or other program in cooking or

1 year or less than 2 years of commercial cooking experience are required



Languages:

Must know how to speak English, Read English, Write English

Education: Some secondary Education.
