We are looking for well-experienced Cooks to work for Pemberton Valley Supermarket located at 7438 Prospect St., Pemberton, BC, V0N 2L1, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and cook various dishes according to the menu and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.

• Assist in preparing ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring, to support daily food production.

• Operate kitchen equipment.

• Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain product consistency and control waste.

• Ensure all food is prepared according to safety standards and company specifications.

• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing utensils, sanitizing surfaces, and properly storing ingredients.

• Monitor stock levels and inform the kitchen supervisor when supplies need replenishing.

• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients.

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.

• Perform other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by the head chef or kitchen supervisor.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate or equivalent. 

Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience or equivalent

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $20 to $22 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
