Comfort Inn & Suite Valemount is seeking a F/T Food Services Manager.

Position Info:

• Position: Food Services Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00~$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 885 Cranberry Lake Road, Valemount, BC V0E 2Z0

Job Duties:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily operations of the in-house dining facility to ensure smooth service flow, guest satisfaction, and alignment with overall operations.
• Develop and implement food service procedures, service standards, and operational policies tailored to an in-house dining environment.
• Recruit, train, and supervise food service staff, ensuring employees are properly trained in hospitality standards, guest service, and workplace safety.
• Prepare work schedules, assign duties, and monitor staff performance to maintain adequate staffing levels during peak operating periods.
• Manage inventory, control food and beverage costs, and monitor revenues while adjusting operational practices to meet budget and performance targets.
• Respond to guest feedback and service issues promptly, ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Coordinate and negotiate with food and beverage suppliers and work collaboratively with management to support in-house dining services and special events.

Job requirements:

• Experience: 3~5 years of related experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
