Position Info:

• Position: Housekeeper
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $19.00/hr
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 2307 Shaka Lake Road, Penticton, BC V2A 6E8

Job Duties:

• Maintain pristine cleanliness throughout the property by sweeping, mopping, washing, and vacuuming all floor and fabric surfaces.
• Regularly dust and wipe down all furniture pieces to keep guest areas immaculate and allergen-free
• Thoroughly sanitize, wash, and polish all fixtures and appliances in guest bathrooms and kitchenettes
• Disinfect and organize public or staff changing areas and shower facilities to meet high hygiene standards
• Ensure a clutter-free environment by clearing debris and emptying all waste receptacles promptly
• Strip used bedding, change sheets, and meticulously make beds according to hotel presentation standards
• Keep linen storage areas organized and fully replenished with clean supplies for the team
• Restock guest rooms with fresh linens and toiletries, and promptly deliver additional amenities upon guest request
• Manage and operate laundry facilities to wash, dry, and fold hotel linens and fabrics properly
• Offer helpful and accurate information regarding hotel amenities, hours, and facilities to guests
• Listen to and resolve guest issues or complaints with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary
• Securely document, track, and report any misplaced guest belongings following hotel lost-and-found protocols

Job requirements:

• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
