Chef De Partie – European Cuisine
We are looking for a well-experienced Chef De Partie – European Cuisine for “10tation Event Catering” located at 232 Norseman Street, Etobicoke, ON, M8Z 2R4 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Lead and coordinate day-to-day production at an assigned European-focused event station within a large-scale catering environment, ensuring refined execution and presentation.
Prepare and cook complete European-style dishes and specialty components inspired by Italian, French, and Mediterranean cuisine, based on client-specific event menus.
Plan mise en place and station setup in advance of service, including preparation of sauces, proteins, vegetable accompaniments, and starches required for European menus.
Supervise and coordinate cooks and kitchen helpers assigned to the station, directing workflow to meet tight event timelines and quality expectations.
Enforce culinary standards for European cuisine, including flavour balance, portion control, plating precision, and consistency across events.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align European station output with overall menu execution for weddings, corporate functions, and formal receptions.
Monitor station inventory levels, inspect ingredient quality, and flag shortages or substitutions required for European menu items in advance of service.
Adjust preparation methods, cooking sequences, and finishing techniques during events to maintain service flow and synchronize with other food stations.
Ensure strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, particularly for sauces, proteins, and plated European dishes.
Support kitchen setup, breakdown, and equipment readiness before and after events to ensure seamless back-to-back event execution.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary school or equivalent
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more of experience in the Hospitality Industry or equivalent.
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $36.00 to $38.00 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
