GAON CONSTRUCTION LTD. located in Edmonton, AB is hiring Carpenter.

You will be responsible for the following:

Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine work requirements

Perform layout and measurement tasks in accordance with applicable building codes and project plans

Cut, shape, and assemble wood, engineered materials, and light-gauge steel components

Construct structural elements including foundations, floor systems, walls, and roof framing

Install finishing components such as doors, staircases, trim, mouldings, and hardware

Carry out maintenance, repairs, and renovation work on residential and commercial structures

Provide guidance to apprentices and labourers as needed

You need to meet the following qualifications:

Completion of Secondary school is required.

2-3 years of work experience as a carpenter is required.

English is required.

Your hourly wage will be $36. 4% vacation pay is provided.

This is a full-time, permanent position.
