Vesta Cucine Inc. has openings for Full-Time, Permanent Cabinetmakers.

Conditions

• Position: Cabinetmaker (NOC 72311)
• Status: Full-Time, Permanent
• Wage: $26.00 per hour
• Working hours: minimum 30 hours per week
• Ability to work on weekends or holidays according to the working schedule
• Overtime may be possible depending on the working schedule
• Vacation: 4% gross salary
• Benefit: After 3 months of probation, Group Insurance and Safety Boots are provided

Requirements

• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Experience: Minimum 3 years previous experience is required
• Language: English
• Knowledge of safe operation of hand and power tools
• Own personal tools

Job Duties

• Read plans/drawings and sketches
• Set up and operate machines including table saw and edge banding machine
• Use hand tools to cut, shape, carve, and form parts and components
• Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form a complete unit using glue and clamps and reinforce joints using nails, screws, or other fasteners
• Finish wooden surface by sanding and/or apply veneer, and stain
• May estimate amount, type, and cost of materials required
• Working in a team or independently with little supervision
