BTS Tiling is seeking a F/T Tilesetter.

Position Info:

• Position: Tilesetter
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.50-$39.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 1006 Boxcar Cl, Langford, BC V9B 0Y4

Benefits:

• 4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Measure and layout work areas to plan tile placement and coverage
• Apply mortar, cement, mastic or adhesive compounds to surfaces using hand tools
• Position and secure tiles to the base, ensuring proper alignment
• Straighten and adjust tile placement to maintain consistent lines and spacing
• Trim and shape tiles around fixtures and openings using cutting equipment
• Finish joints with grout and replace damaged or cracked tiles as needed
• Install underlayment, anchor bolts, wiring and support brackets prior to tile placement
• Determine material and labour costs to support tenders and quotations

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 5 years or more of experience as a Tilesetter is required
