Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
Work Experience: Min 3 years of work experience as bookkeeper or accounting clerk

We are a historical bar with a modern twist. Comfortable seats, wood burning stove, friendly staff and great food. This is a neighborhood social house where everyone is welcome and the place that is not easy to leave.
Job Duties:
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and submit periodic financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds are available for daily operations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, including the timely filing of tax returns and payments.
- Coordinate with external accountants for annual audits and tax preparation.
- Handle invoicing, billing, and collection of payments from clients.
- Manage employee payroll, benefits, and expense reimbursements.
- Maintain and organize financial documents and records for easy retrieval and review.
- Assist in obtaining available government grants and funds.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
