Bisou Hair Salon is seeking a F/T Hairstylist.

Position Info:

• Position: Hairstylist
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $23.00-$24.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: #392-4800 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 4J2

Job Duties:

• Cut and shape hair based on client preferences and facial features
• Assess hair and scalp health to recommend the best styles and treatments
• Style hair through blowouts, curls, waves, and specialized perms
• Apply extensions and maintaining wigs or hairpieces
• Color hair using techniques like bleaching, tinting, and highlighting
• Prep clients with thorough shampooing and conditioning treatments
• Track daily schedule, make note of appointments, and keep stations clean

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a hairstylist is required
