O-BOK Foods Ltd. dba. O-BOK Rice Cakes in Burnaby, BC is looking for a Full-Time and Permanent Baker (Korean Rice Cake).

Conditions

·          Position: Baker (Korean Rice Cake, NOC 63202)

·          Status: Full-time, Permanent

·          Wage: $23.00 / hour

·          Working Hours: 40 hours a week, 5 days a week

·          Ability to work early in the morning (4:30 AM start every day)

·          Vacation: 4 % gross salary

·          Number of Positions: 1

Requirements:

·          Completion of secondary school

·          At least 4 years of baker or cook experience,

the Korean Rice Cake experience will be a good asset

·          Language: English

Duties:

·          Prepare rice flour for various Korean rice cakes (Tteok)

·          Steam and bake various types of rice cakes (Songpyeon, Injeolmi, Siru-tteok, Gulpyun, Ggul tteok, etc.)

·          Prepare special orders for events (birthday, Lunar New Year, Korean Thanksgiving Day, etc.)

·          Operate machinery

·          May clean the kitchen and food service area.

·          Decorate Korean rice cakes (Tteok)
