Automotive Service Technician

We are looking for a well experienced Automotive Service Technician for “Thornhill Hyundai” located at 7200 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J 1V8, Canada.

 No. of Position: 02

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect engines and vehicle systems in operation, conduct advanced road tests, and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.

• Repair, overhaul, and replace major automotive systems and components independently and to a high technical standard.

• Test, calibrate, and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications using advanced diagnostic tools and procedures.

• Independently estimate parts, labour, and repair timelines for complex and high-value repair work.

• Perform and oversee scheduled maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and best practices.

• Explain diagnostic findings, completed repairs, and future maintenance requirements clearly to customers.

• Mentor, coach, and instruct apprentices and junior technicians on advanced diagnostics and repair techniques.

• Review work orders, plan repair strategies, and coordinate complex jobs with supervisors or service advisors.

• Deliver expert-level customer service through technical accuracy, efficiency, and professional communication.

Prerequisites:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: 5 years or more in relevant field or equivalent experience.

Language: English

Hourly rate: $48.00 for 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
