LIQUIDATION STE-SOPHIE INC, located at 2630 Boulevard Ste-Sophie,
Ste-Sophie (Québec)  J5J 2V3, Ste-Sophie, Québec, is offering a part-time, permanent position for an Assistant Retail Trade Manager (NOC 60020), for 32 hours per week.
Wage: $34.62 per hour.

Position Summary

Under the authority of management, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all business operations. The candidate will ensure profitability, operational efficiency, effective management of human and material resources, as well as customer satisfaction and retention.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• (32 hours per week)

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to:
• Plan, organize, direct, and control daily business operations;
• Supervise, train, support, and evaluate sales staff;
• Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve issues effectively;
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and supplier relationships;
• Develop and implement sales, marketing, and promotional strategies;
• Analyze business performance (sales, margins, costs) and recommend improvements;
• Prepare management reports and participate in budget planning;
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations;
• Optimize operational processes and improve overall efficiency;
• Oversee store presentation, layout, and cleanliness;
• Actively contribute to business development and company growth.

Job Requirements

• College diploma or university degree in business administration or a related field;
• Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in retail or wholesale management;
• Experience in the construction materials industry (strong asset);
• Knowledge of business operations, inventory management, and customer service;
• French required; functional English is an asset.
