Job Duties:
<p>Work with honey bees on a honey farm<br>Harvest honey<br>Detect and treat bee diseases<br>Operate and maintain apiary related machinery and equipment<br>Apiary work<br>Write daily basic progress reports<br>Feed and care for bees<br>Move hives and collect honey<br>Clean boxes of dead bees in the off season <br>Move the bees within different sites of the farm depending on the season<br>Assist in making nucs<br>Work cleaning and assisting with maintaining hives/nucs in the off season <br>Assist with assembly of new hives in off season <br>Packaging honey and putting in boxes <br>Moving boxes and packaging when received<br>Removal of waste from new builds and moving material for supervisor and owners as needed <br>Keeping shop clean and removing waste <br>Load finished product to truck and unload shipments all year round <br>Basic fixing of bee equipment year round and mainly off season. <br>Other duties that are required</p>
