• Wage: $17.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook Korean-Chinese dishes, including black bean noodles, spicy seafood noodle soups, fried rice, stir-fried dishes, and deep-fried meat and seafood items, according to established recipes.
• Estimate the daily quantities of noodles, rice, meat, seafood, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients required based on expected orders.
• Measure ingredients and control serving portions to maintain consistent quality, reduce food waste, and manage food costs.
• Adjust dishes for customers with food allergies or dietary intolerances while following proper cross-contamination prevention procedures.
• Prepare supply requests for fresh ingredients, sauces, cooking oil, takeout containers, and other kitchen materials before stock runs low.
• Check incoming deliveries, rotate ingredients according to expiry dates, and maintain accurate records of food inventory, supplies, and waste.
• Examine food preparation, cooking, refrigeration, and storage areas to ensure proper temperatures, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.
• Clean and sanitize wok stations, fryers, preparation surfaces, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout and at the end of each shift.

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
