Crescendo Dental is seeking a F/T Dental Chair-side Assistant.

Position Info:

• Position: Dental Chair-side Assistant
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: #260-8600 Cambie Rd, Richmond, BC V6X 4J9

Benefits:

• 4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Ready patients for dental examinations, including positioning and explaining treatment steps
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment to uphold infection control standards
• Organize and set up dental instruments and filling materials ahead of procedures
• Capture and process dental X-rays as directed by the dentist
• Log dental procedures performed on patients according to clinic standards
• Guide patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care routines
• Fabricate plaster models and moulds for diagnostic and treatment planning purposes
• Assemble wax bite-blocks and impression trays for use during dental procedures

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in dental assistance is required
