Description
Nikko Sushi is looking for full-time, permanent Chef.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and cook various kinds of Korean & Japanese foods such as Udon, Hot pots, Teriyaki, Tempura, Donburi, Bibimbap etc.
- Plan and prepare menus while ensuring consistent food quality and presentation standards
- Make various kinds of appetizers.
- Create new menus and recipes to cater to the customers’ demand.
- Supervise cooks and kitchen helpers in their relevant duties of preparation, cooking and handling food.
- Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness and supervising all food preparation.
- Ensure quality of food and portion control.
- Train and teach cooking skills.
You need to meet the following qualification:
3-5 years of experience as a cook is required.
Secondary school education is required.
Language of work is English.
Your hourly wage will be $30-37.
Benefits: 4 % vacation pay.
