Position Info:

• Position: Construction Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $62.50/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 12555 Crescent Road, Surrey, BC V4A 2V4

Job Duties:

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure efficient workflows
• Develop project budgets and manage detailed cost estimates for all construction phases
• Supervise on-site crews to maintain high productivity and workplace safety
• Create and monitor construction schedules to ensure all project milestones are met on time
• Negotiate contracts and manage all revisions, additions, or changes to project agreements
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings using CADD and related software
• Direct the procurement of building materials
• Implement quality control programs to ensure all work meets structural and safety standards

Job requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in construction, including experience as supervisor or field superintendent is required
• Education: Completion of a university degree in civil engineering or a college diploma in construction technology is required
• Language: English
