Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $36.70/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 6-680 Trans Canada Highway, Nanaimo, BC V9S 5R1

Job Duties:

• Assist in reviewing and assessing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and service quality
• Support the planning and coordination of daily activities to maintain smooth restaurant operations
• Prepare and adjust staff work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during operating hours
• Provide training and guidance to staff to support skill development and consistent service standards
• Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to support productivity and team effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards by assisting in implementing and monitoring procedures
• Respond to customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer satisfaction

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience in food services industry is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
