Tasks and Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
• Manage kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure a cohesive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
• Implement cost control measures to optimize food production while minimizing waste.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and professional growth.

Additional Skills

• Strong understanding of South Asian cuisine is an asset
• Attention to detail and high level of consistency in cooking
