Job Title : Head Butcher

Wage: $27.00 – $37.00 per hour (depending on experience or skills)

Work Hours: 30 hours per week

Employment Type: Full-time/Permanent (willing to work at early morning)

Benefit: 10 days paid vacation or 4% vacation pay

Number of Position: 2 positions

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Your job duties will be:

– Cut, trim, bone, tie and grind meats, using butcher’s cutlery or powered equipment.

– Debone meat efficiently using appropriate tools

– Wrap and package prepared cuts of meat for wholesale.

– Perform quality inspections on meats and other products.

– Observe and maintain company sanitation and food safety standards.

– Oversee and coordinate the work of meat department staff.

– Provide guidance and training to other butchers or meat cutters.

– Keep work area clean, neat, and organized.

Requirements:

– Minimum 3 year’s related work experience

– Completion of High School
– English
