Position Info:

• Position: Kitchen Helper
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $17.85/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 150-4112 Lougheed Hwy, Burnaby, BC V5C 6A8

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Assist with basic food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting fresh produce.
• Receive and organize deliveries, storing food supplies in designated refrigerators and freezers.
• Operate commercial dishwashers to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently.
• Hand-wash specialized kitchen tools and equipment as needed to support kitchen workflow.
• Maintain sanitized work surfaces, storage areas, and appliances in compliance with safety rules.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.
• Perform routine floor maintenance, including sweeping and mopping in food prep areas.

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: Experience an asset
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
