Job Duties:
- Prepares meals tailored to client dietary needs, considering her health conditions (e.g., low-sugar or low-salt diets).
- Assists client with exercises she wants to do.
- Runs errands (e.g., grocery shopping), takes out the garbage and does light housekeeping, including like washing dishes and making her bed.
- Accompanies client for walks or to doctor’s appointments.
- Reminds client to take her medications on time.
- Provides companionship and emotional support during illness, recovery or family disruption.
- Helps with routine health tasks like checking blood pressure.
Skills requirements:
- Completion of High School.
- Completion of 6 Months Caregiver Training Program or 1-year full time paid experience in related field is desirable.
