Position Info:

• Position: Retail Store Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $45.00/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 21896 40 Avenue, Langley, BC V2Z 1N7

Job Duties:

• Oversee daily meat processing to meet sales demand
• Manage inventory and procurement of whole carcasses and primal cuts to maintain stock levels
• Enforce rigorous food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards in compliance with health regulations
• Maximize profitability by monitoring margins and implementing effective yield management
• Train butchery staff in precision cutting techniques, equipment safety, and high-level product knowledge
• Direct merchandising and display strategies to ensure peak product freshness and visual appeal for customers
• Resolve complex customer inquiries regarding custom cuts, specialty orders, and meat preparation methods
• Maintain all processing machinery, including saws, grinders, and slicers, to ensure operational safety and longevity

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience including supervisory experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
