Education: Secondary School Education Certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Job Duties:
- Apply multiple layers of compound and sand the seams and joints
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect the outside corners
- Build and install metal ceiling grids, then add panels to create acoustic or coffered ceilings
- Fill in holes, cracks, and dents with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets
- Attach the sheets to metal or wood studs or joists
- Smooth out extra compound and let it dry
- Tape over the joints with a taping machine and press the tape into the compound
- Estimate the cost of materials needed
