POPLAR Korean Restaurant is seeking a F/T Restaurant Manager.

Position Info:

• Position: Restaurant Manager
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00-$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 6501 Victoria Drive, Vancouver, BC V5P 1T3

Job Duties:

• Oversee daily shifts to ensure food quality and service meet standards
• Analyze budgets to cut waste and protect the restaurant's profit margins
• Build weekly schedules that balance labor costs with expected guest volume
• Manage inventory and negotiate contracts with suppliers to maintain stock levels
• Train and supervise employees on menu knowledge, safety, and service techniques
• Recruit and hire staff members who fit the team culture and service needs
• Uphold health codes and safety regulations to ensure a clean dining environment
• Address guest complaints to resolve conflicts and encourage repeat business

Job requirements:

• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience including supervisory experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
