Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.00-$21.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 3251 Plateau Blvd, Coquitlam, BC V3E 3B8

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook meals and menu items according to established recipes
• Modify dishes for guests with specific food allergies or dietary intolerances
• Determine portion sizes for all dishes to ensure consistency and minimize food waste
• Order necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment to keep the kitchen running
• Oversee the team of cooks and helpers during prep and service periods
• Track all inventory and maintain clean, organized work areas and storage
• Train kitchen staff on proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety standards

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
