Headquartered in Toronto with over 17 years of industry experience, we have established ourselves as a leading LED wholesaler and trusted authority in lighting consulting and distribution. We introduced UL/cUL-certified self-driving LED replacement tubes to the North American market and continue to provide products built with premium LED chips, drivers, and advanced thermal management systems.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and results-driven Technical Sales Specialist-Wholesale to promote and sell our LED lighting products and solutions. This role combines technical expertise with strong sales skills to support clients, recommend suitable products, and expand our wholesale distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand strong sales relationships with existing clients, including contractors, property managers, distributors, and commercial customers, to promote lighting solutions
  • Identify, research, and actively solicit prospective clients across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors to generate new business opportunities
  • Assess customer lighting requirements, analyze technical specifications, recommend suitable LED products, systems, or customized solutions, and negotiate pricing, terms, and project details
  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide input on product selection or modifications when lighting solutions must be tailored to meet specific client applications or project conditions
  • Develop and deliver technical sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations that clearly illustrate performance, energy efficiency, cost savings, and compliance advantages
  • Prepare cost estimates for product supply, installation considerations, and long-term maintenance or energy-saving projections
  • Prepare, review, and manage sales quotes and contracts, and maintain accurate client and sales records
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to LED lighting products and provide after-sales technical support and guidance
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products, lighting technologies, certifications, and industry standards to effectively advise clients and respond to inquiries
  • Use sales forecasting software and develop, implement, and report on sales strategies and performance metrics to support business growth
  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, emerging technologies, and industry trends to identify new market opportunities and strengthen corporate competitive position

Requirements

  • A university degree or college diploma in electrical engineering, electronics, lighting technology, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical sales or in a technical role related to lighting, electrical products, or similar equipment
  • Strong knowledge of LED lighting systems, components, and applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-relationship skills
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is an asset
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Willing and able to work overtime as required
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to client sites
