Position Info:

• Position: Line Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $23.00-25.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 1325 Burrard St, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2B7

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual menu items in accordance with restaurant recipes and quality standards
• Measure and portion ingredients appropriately to ensure consistent food quality and minimize waste
• Prepare meals for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions while following proper food safety procedures
• Monitor kitchen inventory and assist with requesting food ingredients and kitchen supplies when needed
• Maintain records of food inventory, supplies, and kitchen equipment to support efficient kitchen operations
• Ensure kitchen and food preparation areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation and safety regulations

Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
