Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.00-23.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 827 Bute St, Vancouver, BC V6E 3Y4

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items in accordance with the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards
• Measure and portion ingredients accurately to control food costs and maintain consistency in presentation
• Order and restock food ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed to support daily operations
• Monitor inventory levels and keep accurate records of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen stations and food preparation areas in compliance with health regulations
• Check kitchen and food service areas regularly to ensure proper hygiene, safety, and operational standards are maintained

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
