A busy professional family in Saint-Lazare is looking for an in-home caregiver for an elderly person who will also do housekeeping and other domestic tasks. This is a permanent position for 34 hours per week. Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.; Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Salary: $19/hour. Two days off: usually Sunday and one additional day, depending on the employer’s shifts, so flexibility is essential. Option to live in the employer’s home at no additional cost. The caregiver may be required to take care of the house and provide care in the absence of the family. Languages: French or English.

*Educational level required:

General High school diploma – Completed 

*Experience related to employment:

1–2 years of experience working with the elderly, or equivalent experience (through work or studies as a nurse, psychologist, or similar), is required.

*Other conditions:

Punctuality, reliability, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, experience with children.
