·        Education: Completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate

Job Duties:

·       Welcome and greet customers visiting the gas station, convenience store, takeout restaurant, and on-site Robin’s coffee shop.

·       Take customers’ food and beverage orders and provide information about fuel, merchandise, menu items, promotions, available services, and business policies.

·       Determine the prices of gasoline, diesel, convenience store merchandise, tobacco products, ice cream, snacks, beverages, coffee, and takeout food items, including pizza, fried chicken, burgers, and Chinese, Thai, and Indian appetizers.

·       Calculate the total amount payable using an electronic cash register, optical price scanner, or other point-of-sale equipment.

·       Receive and process payments by cash, cheque, credit card, or debit for fuel, convenience store merchandise, takeout food, and coffee shop purchases.

·       Clean, peel, slice, and trim food ingredients using manual and electric appliances.

·       Operate deep fryers, grills, ovens, beverage dispensers, and other equipment to prepare hot food and fast-food items, including pizza, fried chicken, burgers, sandwiches, fries, appetizers, ice cream dishes, milkshakes, and other beverages.

·       Use appropriate equipment to prepare and serve hot beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.

·       Portion, assemble, wrap, and package takeout food orders and bag or wrap convenience store merchandise for safe and convenient handling.

·       Serve customers at the takeout restaurant and coffee shop counters.

·       Stock shelves, refrigerators, beverage coolers, and display areas, and maintain records of the quantities of food and ingredients used.

·       Calculate payments received at the end of each shift and reconcile them with fuel, convenience store, restaurant, and coffee shop sales to maintain accurate transaction records.

·       Verify customers’ age when selling tobacco products and other age-restricted merchandise in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

·       Maintain clean and organized checkout counters, food-service counters, equipment, and customer-service areas.

Perform other related duties as required to support the business’s daily operations.
