Food Service Supervisor

 

J.M. Hillside Holdings Ltd. dba Subway in Victoria, BC is looking for an experienced, skilled, Full-Time Permanent Food Service Supervisor.

 

Conditions:

·         Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)

·         Status: Full-Time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.15 per hour

·         Working hours: 30 – 40 hours per week

·         Shifted Schedule

·         Ability to do shift work (daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays)

·         Vacation: 4% gross salary

·         Benefit: Gratuities

·         Positions Available: 1

 

Requirements:

·         Education: Completion of secondary school (post-secondary degree is an asset but not mandatory)

·         Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in food preparation or service. Previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry is considered an asset but is not required.

·         Language: English

Job Duties:

·         Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

·         Supervise and check the assembly of trays and the delivery of the food trolley

·         Estimate and order ingredients and supplies

·         Establish work schedules

·         Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage

·         Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

·         Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
