(Food Services Manager)

We are looking for an experienced Food Services Manager for Pie Wood Fired Pizza Joint located 114 Medora St, Port Carling, ON P0B 1J0 Canada.

Job Duties:

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen workflow, and front-of-house service.

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient service and consistent food quality.

• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate kitchen and service staff.

• Monitor inventory levels, place food and supply orders, and control costs related to food, labour, and operations.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in accordance with local and provincial standards.

• Handle customer concerns, feedback, and service issues to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Prepare staff schedules, and ensure adequate staffing during business hours.

• Analyze sales performance and prepare operational reports to support business planning and growth.

• Assist with food preparation including overseeing food presentation and quality control.

• Train kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques, portion control, and presentation standards.

Prerequisites:

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a    program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: 5 years or more of experience in the Food Industry or equivalent.

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $36.00 for 30 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
