Position Info:

• Position: Inventory Control Supervisor
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $37.00~$38.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 1
• Work Location: 108A – 81 Golden Drive, Coquitlam, BC V3K 6R2

Job Duties:

• Plan, organize, and oversee the daily activities of staff involved in shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of food products and related supplies
• Coordinate inventory movement, order processing, and purchasing activities to ensure accurate stock levels and timely deliveries
• Oversee daily inventory operations, including dispatching and transportation scheduling
• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety procedures, and food safety standards
• Conduct regular inspections of storage areas
• Resolve work-related issues such as shipment discrepancies, damaged goods, or supply shortages, and prepare reports on inventory discrepancies
• Train employees in job duties, safety procedures, and proper handling of food products and equipment
• Requisition food supplies and packaging materials based on production needs and stock levels
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing supervision, guidance, and feedback to team members

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of related experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
