(Catering Services Manager)
We are looking for a well-experienced Catering Services Manager for a well-known events and catering firm, Paramount Eventspace, located at 222 Rowntree Dairy Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L 9T2 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Plan, organize, and oversee catering service operations for weddings, corporate events, and large-scale banquets, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with Italian and Greek specialty service standards.
Determine service formats, staffing models, and operational procedures for each event, supporting high-volume service and cuisine-specific presentation requirements.
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise catering staff, ensuring readiness and familiarity with Italian and Greek dining styles, service sequences, and hospitality standards.
Direct on-site service execution, monitoring service flow, timing, and coordination between service and culinary teams to ensure efficient delivery of specialty menus.
Manage inventory and service supplies by forecasting event needs and coordinating procurement, including items specific to Italian and Greek cuisine service.
Monitor revenues, labour usage, and operational costs, implementing adjustments to maintain efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations across all catering operations and event sites.
Resolve client and guest concerns during events, ensuring service recovery and maintaining high service standards.
Negotiate catering service arrangements with clients, clearly defining service scope, menu styles, and expectations related to Italian and Greek offerings.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to support event logistics, service setup, and timely execution of catered functions.
Prerequisites:
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more experience preferably in the Food Industry or equivalent.
Language: English
Hourly Wage: $36 for 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
