Description
We are looking for an experienced Catering Service Manager for Apex Kosher Catering located at 100 Elder St, North York, ON M3H 5G7, Canada.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and oversee all catering service operations for weddings, corporate events, cultural functions, and large-scale receptions.
Establish and implement service procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery aligned with kosher standards and client expectations.
Recruit, schedule, supervise, and evaluate catering staff, service leads, and on-site teams to ensure efficient event execution.
Direct event-day service operations, including setup, service flow, and breakdown, ensuring timelines and service standards are met.
Manage inventory and service supplies, including forecasting needs, coordinating procurement, and ensuring availability for scheduled events.
Monitor service revenues, labour usage, and operational costs, adjusting staffing and procedures to maintain efficiency and profitability.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and kosher food-handling requirements across all catering activities.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events, resolving service issues promptly and maintaining strong client relationships.
Coordinate closely with culinary teams, logistics staff, and external vendors to align service delivery with menu execution and event plans.
Conduct post-event reviews to assess service performance, address issues, and implement improvements for future events.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) School graduation certificate or equivalent
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more experience in Food Industry
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $36 to $38 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
